Question by USA: How to open a canister style autoclave when the lid is stuck shut?
I have an autoclave that I ran a cycle in and now it will not open and I have supplies inside it still. How can I get it open?
It has been shut for 4 days and the pressure has been released.

You released the pressure I guess? Turn it off and let it cool down. The seal should shrink and allow opening. Call your rep and ask their advice. Never had this happen except when the pressure was never released.
