if you notice her badge/license around her neck at 2:04, the picture looks nothing like her, is this girl legit or a middle school student
I think my washing machine is more complicated than this thing. I laughed at step 8 – BUZZZZ
@pratt123 Actually it is important to use Clean distilled water at all times.but this is more for the protection of the autoclave. Normal water destroys the valves and heating elements in the sterilizer.A common mistake when doing spore tests is the technician handling the spore test after it is sterilized. A pair of tweezers should be sterilzed with the spore test and only the tweezers handled to touch the spore test
@missmelissamiss No. The autoclave sterilizes all objects inside it (including the water). It doesn’t matter if you put unsterile water in the autoclave. After it has finished, the water will be sterile along with the other tools in the chamber.
The only concern is to not contaminate the tools after sterilization. But that has nothing to do with the pouring of the water.
Make sure when you pour distilled water into top of autoclave you do not touch anypart of the autoclave to the item you are using to pour distilled water from. OTherwise ~ contamination!
